From our vast collection of Christopher Radko – all are pre-2005 when he divested himself of the Company. Of the most highly prized of Christopher Radko’s master works of Christmas ornaments, this one – “CAROUSEL OF DREAMS” – is my personal favorite. I guess it’s that I still believe in fantasies & storybook endings! Production for this exceptional beauty took over a year to complete & was supposedly limited to just 2500 pieces; however, p. Roduction was stopped prior to the full number being made. His particular ornament is number 690. This RARE & FANTASTIC find. Was only available at Starlight & Rising Star stores &. “CAROUSEL OF DREAMS” features 3 white & pink swans swimming around a center post. They are swimming in a carpet of turquoise glittered “water”. Above them is a reflective ceiling of silver. The top & bottom are extraordinarily hand painted, & it’s almost unbelievable that it is all made of delicate mouth blown glass. The rooftop has floral paintings on a blush background & a salmon colored rim. Like “STERLING RIDER”, this is one of the most fantastic pieces I have ever seen & certainly most skillfully executed. “CAROUSEL OF DREAMS” is complete as a collectible with its original hard walled red collector’s box & original RADKO hang tag. However, it does not have RADKO’s metal charm on the crown ring BECAUSE THAT CHARM WAS NOT INTRODUCED UNTIL THE YEAR 2000. ADDITIONALLY, FROM 1986 UNTIL THE END OF 2001, ALL THE HANGER RINGS ATTACHED WITH THE CROWN WERE CIRCULAR. Is a true, whimsical work of art – highly. Sought after for its detailed, hand painting. Mouth blown & hand painted by Italian artists who create fabulous ornaments using techniques that date back to the 1800′s. “CAROUSEL OF DREAMS” is an absolute must-have for any serious Radko collector. Top diameter = 5.25. Bottom diameter = 4.25. Weight = 8 oz (ornament only). Weight in box = 1.75 lbs. PLEASE REVIEW ALL PICTURES AS THEY VERIFY MY NARRATIVE!
