Christopher Radko enlisted a Polish glassblower and went to work recreating his family’s lost heirlooms. In 1985 sixty unique designs were debuted and a respected business was created. Today, after thirty-seven years of designing and creating, the Christopher Radko Company has produced more than eighteen million fine European glass ornaments that have become a part of family traditions across the United States. Known for his detail and eye for design this ornament is an example. Radko also sourced many specialty ornaments from Italy, Czech Republic besides Poland. He expanded his offerings to home decor, clothing and artwork. This free form blown ornament made in Italy shows the detail with 3 figures and 4 sheep, painted gold leaves on the red front view bottom, the gold braid used as a divider. This is a custom made ornament made by a skill glass blower blowing free form and hand painting and detailing by inserting figures inside to reproduce the look of a waterglobe, each piece is unique. Ornaments are RARE and LIMITED in production and this one. Especially limited due to the religious theme. This item has been tucked away in storage for many years and is in excellent shape. Can be on a bookshelf in a den room under a bell glass. For display or on your tree.
