PLEASE SEE OUR OTHER AUCTIONS!! I HAVE BEEN POSTING SEVERAL ORNAMENTS FROM OUR 30-YEAR COLLECTION OF CHRISTOPHER RADKO ORNAMENTS. From our vast collection of Christopher Radko – all are pre-2005 when he divested himself of the Company. This collectors dream is Christopher Radko’s masterpiece & one of the most prized ornaments of all time! It transcends all other pieces & was only available at Starlight & Rising Star stores. Production for this exceptional beauty took over 2 years to complete & was supposedly limited to just 2500 pieces; however, p. Roduction was stopped prior to the full number being made. His particular ornament is number 1827. Santa is riding a silver reindeer, & the ornament stands 9 tall. It was hand blown, silvered, & hand painted by highly skilled artisans in Italy. Santa’s face is beautifully painted, & the entire ensemble is highly reflective red & genuine sterling silver. Santa’s white trim is highlighted with sparkly glitter as are the antlers, back, & tail of the reindeer. This is one of the most fantastic pieces I have ever seen & certainly one of the most skillfully executed. “STERLING RIDER” is complete as a collectible with its original hardshell red collector’s box & original RADKO hang tag. However, it does not have RADKO’s metal charm on the crown ring BECAUSE THAT CHARM WAS NOT INTRODUCED UNTIL THE YEAR 2000. ADDITIONALLY, FROM 1986 UNTIL THE END OF 2001, ALL THE HANGER RINGS ATTACHED WITH THE CROWN WERE CIRCULAR. This sought-after, prized, & hard to find work of art is the epitome for any serious Radko collector. Width = 4.5 (from foot to foot of Santa). Length = 6.5 (from reindeer’s nose to tip of his tail). PLEASE REVIEW ALL PICTURES AS THEY VERIFY MY NARRATIVE! Many of my items are vintage & fairly aged; accordingly, there may be some. With individual pieces that are associated with the passage of time. Each piece is gently used & may exhibit minor glitter loss and/or paint anomalies due to the vintage quality of the item.
