Mouth blown and hand crafted fine Polish glass Christmas tree decorations, 1998. Produced in 1998 as part of a limited edition of 5000 boxed sets, the incredible set of European hand blown glass ornaments have become the jewel of most Radko and Disney collections. The outstanding design and execution captures the excitement of the Peter Pan adventures! Wonderfully designed Peter Pan demonstrating his youthful athleticism as he flies with the fairy dust swirling about him. He’s calling Wendy and the boys to join him in his new adventure. Wendy stands with the two Darling boys, Michael with his top hat and glasses, and John with his teddy bear. Peter Pan is beckoning that they join him on an adventure. John’s ready to go. There is a momentary hesitation by the other two. The beautifully designed rendition of the mischievous Tinker Bell creates spiral clouds of magical fairy dust as she speedily lands. Superb rendition of Captain Hook as he rubs his chin with his hook, attempting to look his “debonair”, somewhat arrogant best and menacing with his unsheathed saber in hand. The sails are fully displayed. The captain’s deck has the pirate flag waving in the wind. Watch out Peter Pan and the Darling children, Captain Hook is at your heels! Sizes: These five ornaments have terrific presence. Peter Peter Pan and Tinker Bell are each 6 inches tall. The Darling Children are 7 inches tall. Collect this choice, very hard-to-find set for the Disney and Radko collector today! CONDITION OF ITEM: Excellent condition ornament set, and the original green Christopher Radko “Walt Disney’s Peter Pan” cardboard gift box stored in a smoke-free environment.
