RARE 1990 Christopher Radko “Ballooning Santa Claus in the Clouds”, blown glass, made in Poland. Multi colored, measuring appx. Please note: the cotton “cloud” has been removed and can be put back in if you prefer. Acquired from a Hot Air Balloon Christmas Ornament collector’s estate in Louisville KY. Rare Christopher Radko 7 St Paddy Claus with box & tags, made in Poland ca 2006
This beautifully crafted Santa is a rare find! St Paddy Claus is beautifully dressed (and decorated) in a white and gold under robe that is adorned with gold shamrocks, with an emerald green overcoat. He carries a royal purple bag on his back, filled with gifts, and carries a gold staff as well. It has an incredible amount of detail, including painting the soles of his shoes on the bottom of the ornament. Truly a gorgeous ornament. This Radko ornament was made in Poland which, along with Germany, is known for their blown glass ornaments and overall quality. It is a larger ornament, measuring approximately 7 to the top of the cap (not including the finial/loop). It is in excellent condition. I saw no chips, cracks, repairs, or loss of paint. He still has the original paper tag, the Radko metal tag attached to the finial/loop and it comes with the Radko box. The previous owner did write the ornament name on the inside of the lid for re-packing purposes, and the box has small amounts of wear from storage, as seen in the last photo. Please do use photos for condition reference, and as part of the overall item description. I hope you will love the item you receive as much as I loved it when I found it – they are all things that found a place in my vintage loving heart. Because many of my items are vintage or antique, they will not all be perfect. I point out aging issues or potential flaws that I detect, and supplement with pictures. Up for sale is a rare 1996 Christopher Radko glass Christmas ornament titled Kitty Cat Basket. This adorable piece features a smiling white cat with bright yellow eyes and a red scarf, nestled in a glittering golden basket filled with colorful ornaments. Model Number: 96-238-0 (Kitty Cat Basket). Material: Mouth-blown glass, hand-painted. Origin: Made in Poland. 5 tall (see photo with tape measure). Includes: Original hangtag with Radko authentication and details. This collectible ornament is retired and hard to find, especially in this condition with its original tag. Each Radko piece was individually crafted by skilled Polish glass artisans, taking up to a week to complete. Incredibly rare and highly collectible vintage Polish blown glass Christmas ornament, approx. 4.5 tall, featuring a stunning metallic pink base with vibrant hand-painted green, yellow, and white floral stripe details, plus black glitter accents. Smooth ball shape, no indents. Original metal cap marked Poland. This design is highly sought after by collectors and closely resembles early Christopher Radko creations from the late 1980s, before Radko caps were branded. It’s also aligned with rare Fantasia and Santa Land imports, making it a prized addition to any serious vintage holiday collection. Vintage Polish hand blown & hand painted glass ornament. Rare pink + multicolor hand-painted floral geometric abstract stripe design in yellow, white and green. Black mica glitter detail, smooth ball, no indents. 4.5-5″ tall, nearly 4″ across. Ideal for collectors of early Radko, Fantasia, Santa Land, Shiny Brite, and rare Polish, West Germany or Old World Christmas ornaments. Excellent vintage condition with minor paint or glitter wear consistent with age. No chips or cracks, not seeing any visible paint flaking.
