2 Christopher Radko Patriotic Christmas Ornaments Bold & Brave Bold White & Blue
2 CHRISTOPHER RADKO PATRIOTIC ORNAMENTS – “BOLD AND BRAVE” & “BOLD, WHITE AND BLUE”. Is a pair of patriotic theme Christmas tree ornaments made by Christopher Radko. Both came out in 2002 and are now retired. The first ornament is titled “Bold and Brave” (#1010116), which depicts the head of a majestic bald eagle in front of a waving American flag. It measures about 5″ long and 3 1/2″ tall. The second ornament is titled “Bold, White and Blue” (#1010120). This one consists of the letters “USA” in bold red, white, and blue colors. It measures about 4 1/8″ wide and 2 1/4″ tall. Both were mouth blown and handcrafted in Poland. Each ornament has its Radko stem cap and metal tag. The original hang tags and Radko boxes are also included. If you’re not already familiar with the Christopher Radko brand, the company produces a brilliant line of fine glass Christmas ornaments, garlands, and figures depicting everything from the very traditional to the whimsical. Radko’s designs inspire joy and awaken the spiritual significance of the holiday, and best of all, serve as special mementos of a family’s holiday celebrations. They are handcrafted using traditional techniques of glass blowers from the late 19th century. Radko started his business in the early 1980′s after his Christmas tree fell over and smashed his prized collection of antique glass ornaments. After having great difficulty finding replacement ornaments, he commissioned Polish glass blowers to make them for him. Today, Radko ornaments are known world-wide and are cherished by collectors who eagerly await his new releases every year. Condition of this patriotic ornament set is EXCELLENT with no chips or cracks. I don’t see any obvious paint wear. The original boxes have some minor wear. Overall, these collectible ornaments look fantastic and display beautifully. In addition to Christmas, they could be displayed on patriotic holidays or year-round.
