Christopher Radko The First Decade: “Wire-Wrapped Santa – Mission Ball”. This ornament features a Santa between two ball shapes with the entire piece wrapped in fine gold wire. It was mouth-blown, hand-painted and hand-glittered in Poland. The ornament was decorated with the famous “Mission Ball” design, one of a number of folk patterns in common usage in Polish glass workshops during the 1940s-1970s.
