Radko FRUIT MAN CHU (Fruit Manchu) 95-267-0. HARD to FIND & RARELY AVAILABLE. When new ornaments are introduced the designers work directly with the glass plants to ensure the item turns out the way they intended it to. Once the designer is satisfied, the plant produces a few and sends them to the US for approval. When they arrive, one of them is selected and considered the final production sample the plants will use as a guide for additional production once the orders are placed. That sample then gets hung on a tree to take orders from but prior to opening a permanent showroom in Chicago, these trees were disassembled after the gift show and rather than storing the items to re-hang the following year they were made available to people who worked in the building. Christopher Radko Ornament 103830 Tuitti FRUITI Ice Cream Sundae trimmed with Fruit. Preowned, one owner from my personal collection. This ornament was displayed on our family tree, stored in a lined chest during off seasons. Charming novelty piece for your collection. During his ownership, Christopher Radko commissioned production runs for each of his ornament designs then, broke the mold. His ornaments are hard to find. Very early Radko fruit ornament. From 1988 comes this very rare, and difficult to find Radko ornament.
