Christopher Radko 1997 Italian Christmas Ornament ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS
This beautiful hand painted teardrop Italian ornament was made in Italy, it is mouth blown then it is painted and decorated all by hand, these unique Italian ornaments takes an entire week to make. Imagine your little girl sitting on Santas lap telling him her wish list that she’s hoping he’ll leave under the tree on Christmas morning. This deep blue ornament has Santa in his signature red suit and cap holding a little girl on his lap in a blue dress and matching hat telling Santa “all she wants for Christmas”. It looks as though it’s a wooden brown frame around the two of them which is decorated with holly, the white areas mixed within the holly is a rough texture which is called frosted, also the dots around Santa are frosted too. The little girls dress has gold painted dots on her dress, her hat has a gold painted feather and band around it. Santa doesn’t have the usual puff of white cotton on his hat it is gold painted strips. There is also a few scattered stars on the back of the ornament which is a frosted gold color paint. Has never been displayed, excellent condition. Has attached radko tag, no box.
