SIMBA, Radko 1999 Disneyana Safari Adventure Convention Xmas Ornament LE, MIB
For the serious Disney, Lion King and/or Christopher Radko Christmas ornament collector, this would be a truly sensational addition to a collection!! It was only removed from the original packaging for these photos. The photos really don’t do it justice. The glass has an indescribably beautiful lustre and sheen. Twenty years ago, Christopher Radko used sterling silver in the painting process. And the glitter is incredibly sparkly and magical. &###129392; And look at that sweet, sweet face!! &###129303; Impeccably hand-painted and a perfect replica of the movie version. This was only available if you attended the convention – an expensive undertaking, when you include registration, travel and hotel expenses, etc. Although the edition size is 1,000, you can bet that many have been lost, broken or damaged in some way. This one is flawless and was stored in an air-tight, light-free plastic container in a smoke and pet-free environment. And on top of that, it’s hand-signed by the FORMER owner of the Radko Company, Mr. Radko hasn’t attended promotional events or conventions in more than a decade. To boot, this example of Simba has ALL of the original packaging components, including the outer, heavy cardboard sleeve, which is hand numbered too!! #470 in the series. The fabulous passport-style flyer with BOTH certificates of authenticity is included. As are the top and bottom foam inserts that so perfectly cradle and protect Simba. All the packaging is flawless. The photos clearly attest to that. Please study them closely, as they’re an important part of the description. You absolutely will not be disappointed!!
